DevOps Architect

Munich, Germany

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Architect to manage and own the development and automation environments for our automotive middleware project. This role focuses on configuration management, build automation, and integration of development tools, with a deep understanding of the software build process in C++17 and Rust. You will oversee the entire development environment, including the V-execution environment, covering the software V-cycle from requirements to validation  

Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure the development environment, including IDEs, GitHub Actions, Bazel for build automation, and Docs-as-Code (sphinx-needs).
  • Own and manage the software build process for C++17 and Rust, ensuring efficient compilation, unit testing, and static analysis.
  • Manage and control the configuration of the entire development environment, including version control, software dependencies, and configuration management tools.
  • Oversee the qualification and management of the V-execution environment, covering the full software V-cycle from requirements to validation.
  • Integrate test frameworks and ensure their seamless operation in the development environment

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Architect, ideally within the automotive or embedded software industry.
  • Strong expertise in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bazel, and similar tools.
  • Deep understanding of C++17 and Rust build processes, including compilation, linking, and test execution.
  • Proficiency in managing version control and configuration management tools for the software development process.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, ensuring streamlined development and testing processes
