As a Senior Model Based Engineer, the job purpose is to design, develop, and optimize innovative real-time physical models and software functionalities for automotive control units, ensuring high-quality, robust solutions through close collaboration with customers and international development teams, while actively participating in all project phases from concept to production.
Responsibilities

Developing innovative
physical models for real-time automotive control units in specific
functionalities
- Analyzing, discussing and clarifying requirements in very close cooperation's with our customers
- Designing and
defining the best and
most robust functionality using Matlab/Simulink/ASCET, following a model-based
software development approach.
- Testing modules and software integration testing
- Documented software components
- Participating actively and responsibly in each phase of the project, from start to production
- Cooperating closely with international development partners
HW engineers,
Mechanical Engineers, System Engineers, Test engineers, etc.)
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the automotive embedded software development area.
- B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Aerospace, Automation, Electronics or Comparable.

Good knowledge of
automotive systems and functional concepts (e.g., powertrain, driver assistant
systems)

Good knowledge of
model-based SW development using Matlab/Simulink/ASCET
- Very good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink toolchain.
- Experience with embedded software development (e.g. C programming language)

Experience with
automotive vehicle communication (preferably CAN bus)
- Experience with signal processing and control.
