A Senior Specialist Model-Based Engineer will lead the development of control system software, translating complex control designs into efficient, high-quality software solutions. In addition, this engineer should have extensive experience that will be pivotal in driving innovation and ensure excellence in model-based engineering practices. |
Responsibilities

Analyze, refine, and
manage software requirements derived from system and customer specifications.
- Design and implement software using model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink).

Lead testing
activities including MIL, SIL, and HIL.

Ensure 100%
traceability of software requirements across all development phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify and refine requirements, ensuring they are atomic, testable, and clear.
- Establish and maintain a required dashboard to track progress, traceability, and stakeholder alignment.

Lead
requirements-related activities in compliance with ASPICE Level 2 and support
audits (SWE.1, SWE.2 & SWE.3).
- Debug and optimize software to ensure performance and quality.
- Drive process improvements and enhance awareness of requirements management best practices.
- Review and approve Software Requirement Specification (SRS) packages.
- Work closely with
software development teams to ensure alignment with system expectations.
Requirements

8+ years in embedded
software development (automotive industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Communication, Mechatronics, Computer, Electronics, etc.
- Proven experience in software requirements engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of
requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama.
- Experience with ASPICE compliance and functional safety standards.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.

Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with tools
like CANalyzer, CANoe, and GIT.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Very good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink toolchain.
