Embedded software application engineer participates in developing the control system SW from documented control designs using modeling tool chain, this role is to implement software according to specifications created by control system engineers and perform SIL, MIL and HIL testing.
Responsibilities

Developing innovative
physical models for real-time automotive control units in specific
functionalities
- Analyzing, discussing and clarifying requirements in very close cooperation's with our customers
- Designing and
defining the best and
most robust functionality using Matlab/Simulink/ASCET, following a model-based
software development approach.
- Testing modules and software integration testing
- Documented software components
- Participating actively and responsibly in each phase of the project, from start to production
- Cooperating closely with international development partners
HW engineers,
Mechanical Engineers, System Engineers, Test engineers, etc.)
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in the automotive embedded software development area.
- B.Sc. in Communication, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Aerospace, Electronics or Computer Science.

Good knowledge of
automotive systems and functional concepts (e.g., powertrain, driver assistant
systems)

Good knowledge of
model-based SW development using Matlab/Simulink/ASCET
- Very good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink toolchain.
- Experience with embedded software development (e.g. C programming language)

Experience with
automotive vehicle communication (preferably CAN bus)
- Experience with signal processing and control.
